At AVSimulation, we are delighted to report on our participation with our partner IAE at Testing Expo China – Automotive, one of the premier international exhibitions dedicated to test, development, and validation technologies for the automotive industry. This event, held annually and drawing experts from around the globe, is also part of a family of expos in Europe, the United States, Korea, and India.
Event Overview
Testing Expo China is the largest international trade show focused on automotive testing, validation, and development technologies. Among its key figures:
- Over 330 exhibitors, presenting the latest technological solutions in automotive test and validation
- More than 7,500 professionals expected, including engineers, quality managers, R&D decision-makers
- Over 30 technical conferences featuring international experts, discussing trends and best practices in validation, robotics, sensors, autonomous systems, etc.
Highlights: AVSimulation + IAE at the Event
One of the standout moments at the expo was the IAE conference, titled “NOA End-to-End: complete simulation.” Following this presentation, the IAE booth, where AVSimulation joined as a partner, immediately drew strong interest from major OEMs such as Xiaomi, Geely, BYD, Foton Motor, and Chang’an Motor, among others.
At the booth, attention focused on Powered by SCANeR solutions. We demonstrated how our technology supports the entire validation cycle of autonomous driving:
- Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), Model-in-the-Loop (MiL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), Vehicle-in-the-Loop (ViL), Driver-in-the-Loop (DiL) testing
- Real-world testing scenarios
- Generation and management of complex scenarios via massive simulation & cloud infrastructure
- Full validation process, ensuring reliability and safety of autonomous systems
In particular, SCANeR Studio, our ALL-IN-ONE platform, was shown to accelerate R&D, unify simulation stages, and integrate AI for safer, more trustworthy autonomous features.
Why It Matters
For AVSimulation and IAE, Testing Expo China was more than just a showcase. It reaffirmed our position at the forefront of autonomous vehicle validation, and highlighted several trends:
- The increasing demand from OEMs for end-to-end solutions that cover both software and hardware validation
- The central role of simulation (both virtual and real-world) in reducing risk, cost, and development time
- The growing importance of AI-based scenario generation, and cloud infrastructure for scaling tests
